A $20 M Beach Project is expected to begins soon at Pleasure Island.   According to an article by  Port City Daily staff writers Great Lakes Dredge & Dock Company, one of the  largest dredging providers in the country, will arrive soon on Pleasure Island to begin the renourishment projects on Carolina and Kure beaches.

What does this mean?  Beach nourishment, or beach renourishment is a process where sand that is lost or eroded over time is replaced through other sources, and usually is done every 3 years at Carolina and Kure beaches.

As Carolina Beach residents and Realtors for Coldwell Banker Seacoast Realty, the team here at Ebersole and Kelley enjoy the beaches with our friends and family.
